Welcome to Pexnode! This guide walks you through accessing your server panel, starting your Minecraft server, and connecting from your game client.
1. Accessing Your Server Panel
Your server is managed through our custom control panel at panel.pexnode.com.
Go to panel.pexnode.com in your browser.
Use the same email and password you used when purchasing your server. Your billing account and panel account are linked via single sign-on (SSO).
After logging in, you'll see your server list on the dashboard. Click on your server to open its management console.
If you just purchased your server, it may take a few minutes to provision. Refresh the page if you don't see it right away.
2. Starting Your Server
Once you're on your server's dashboard, you'll see the console and control buttons.
Press the green Start button in the top-right corner of the console. Your server will begin booting up.
Watch the console output. When you see a message like Done (X.XXXs)! For help, type "help", your server is ready.
You can type Minecraft commands directly into the console input at the bottom (without the / prefix). For example, type op YourName to make yourself an operator.
3. Connecting to Your Server
Now that your server is running, connect to it from Minecraft.
Find the Address field on your dashboard (e.g., game1.pexnode.com:25565). Click to copy it.
Launch Minecraft Java Edition, click Multiplayer, then Add Server.
Paste your server address into the Server Address field, give it a name, and click Done. Then select your server and click Join Server.
Make sure your Minecraft version matches the server version. You can check and change the server version in the Engines tab of your panel.
4. Basic Panel Controls
Here's a quick overview of the most important controls:
- Start / Stop / Restart / Kill — Control your server's power state from the console page.
- Console — View live server output and type commands directly.
- File Manager — Browse, edit, upload, and download server files.
- Backups — Create and restore full server backups.
